Theresa Hrindo, a 25-year old technology teacher Roselle Catholic High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, was arrested for sexual activity with a student from her school. The case was referred to the police by the Catholic Archdiocese of Newark which oversees the school. And before you fall into any Catholic church members and underaged students memes, it’s worth noting the bulk of these wicked tales of teacher and student lust are popping out of the public schools and secular private institutions. Not that the laws of random predator chance doesn’t indicate there won’t be some fair share at Catholic schools as well. Perhaps they are on the better lookout these days considering their recent legal settlements in the billions.
Hrindo was arrested on two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The latter seems fairly redundant if you believe the humping at Hrindo’s apartment was insidious to her student’s mind and body in the first place. Though according to the court filings, the sexual activity occurred at numerous spots around Union County. These two were mobile.
A charge was added to for hindering apprehension as a result of Hrino deleting all her dirty and suggestive texts from and to her teen lover. That also seems rather redundant. Who doesn’t erase those even when it’s a legal affair? She’s a tech teacher. She should be teaching this to her students. Nevertheless, more leverage for the District Attorney in the case.
Hrindo herself was herself a one time graduate of Roselle Catholic High School. Consider her name and trophies likely removed from the display cases.
