In this gross world of Harvey Weinsteins and Bill Cosbys, you’d think that women would be inclined to take care of one another. But actually, no, sorry, everything is garbage and that’s why Ashley Nicole Brown, 31, of Eaton County, Michigan has been sentenced to three to 15 years in prison for helping her husband assault underage girls. Brown’s husband, John Louis-Perkins Brown, 41, has already been sentenced to at least a decade behind bars for a variety of charges including criminal sexual conduct and harboring a runaway.
Police learned that the couple often held parties in which they allowed teens to drink alcohol and smoke weed with them. One girl said that Mrs. Brown picked her up and took her to the couple’s home, where she did just that. Later into the evening, Mrs. Brown handed her husband a condom and encouraged him to have sex with the girl, which he did after taking her into a room upstairs. Brown later admitted that he had sex with the underage victim three times on various occasions. At one point, the Browns even hid the girl in their house after she ran away from her own home, lying to authorities who were looking for her. Another teen girl told police that Mr. Brown assaulted her in 2015 on the couch in the Browns’ home.
It’s not clear why any adult woman would prompt her husband to have sex with a child or teen, but Brown isn’t the only woman to be convicted of such a thing in recent times. Kelly Claytor, 46, of Virginia, will serve 10 years in prison for arranging a sexual tryst between her 70-year-old married boyfriend, Houston Miller, and a 16-year-old girl. She took nude photos of the teen and sent them to Miller, and also sexted Miller from the girl’s phone pretending to be her. Miller had sex with the teen several times until the girl told a friend, whose family contacted authorities.
