Jessica Greene, 27, of Mocksville, North Carolina is allegedly the latest bad teacher who, for some inexplicable reason, couldn’t keep her hands off one of her impressionable, young students.
Jessica works at Davie County High School and is accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male student. Though the student’s gender has been released, his age has not been revealed. One can presume that the student is between 14 to 17 years old, given that she was a high school teacher. The key word there is was. The Sheriff’s office began investigating the allegations on December 1, and Jessica was suspended on December 2. On the 12th, she was suspended without pay after more information was unearthed, the likes of which we’re sure would make an honest person gag. She has now been charged with three counts of sexual activity with a student, which allegedly occurred from early November through the first week of December, both on and off campus. Jessica is currently being held on a $15,000 bail.
Davie High School officials issued the following statement:
“The safety of all of our students continues to be a top priority, and we will continue to partner with parents, our community, and law enforcement to maintain a safe teaching and learning environment for the students we serve. Parents will be notified via School Messenger this evening.”
We recently learned about another bad teacher, one Trudy Hill. She earned several glowing series of reviews on RateMyTeacher, the site that offers students the chance to offer anonymous ratings of their education professionals. The 32-year-old English teacher, however, is accused of sending nude photos of herself to a 17-year-old boy, as well as performing oral sex on him after class. In another recent case, Nicole Wilfinger made things easy on investigators by keeping a diary of the lurid affairs she allegedly carried on with a minor boy at least 14 years old. Nicole, a married math teacher, met the victim after volunteering to help with the middle school football team. She first wrote of her fantasies, then detailed her apparently real-life encounters. One entry described the “first time he was a cowboy for me.” Eighth graders are the appropriate age to play cowboy on the playground, but not with a 37-year-old woman. Yikes.
